We are seeking a Rebar and Post-Tension Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate specialized, custom-built equipment engineered explicitly for our post-tension manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical competence, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence. 

Responsibilities

  • Configure, program, and safely operate custom machines utilizing computerized CNC control consoles to meet precise production metrics
  • Conduct continuous inspections of processed materials to guarantee total compliance with our rigorous structural quality guidelines 
  • Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to handle machine setups, identify operating variances, and troubleshoot minor mechanical adjustments or issues

Qualifications

  • Rebar industry experience and background running machinery is strictly required
  • Strong, demonstrable mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, automated industrial equipment
  • Prior forklift experience is highly preferred
  • Reliable, highly safety-minded, quality-focused, and comfortable with a rigorous industrial workload ("not afraid to get dirty")

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time  
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds regularly, and greater weights with assistance  
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and effectively for extended durations, including repetitive hand and foot movements, and in both hot and cold weather environments  
  • Ability to climb on and off equipment, ladders, and elevated platforms, and work at heights when required  
  • Ability to use hands and tools to perform physical tasks, including rigging, securing loads, and equipment adjustments  
  • Ability to maintain situational awareness and react quickly to changing job site conditions to ensure safety  
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety signals, including working in environments with high noise levels (hearing protection may be required 
  • Ability to see and distinguish colors, depths, and distances to safely operate equipment and perform tasks  
  • Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and travel as required by project needs  
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work requiring stamina, endurance, and strength in a fast-paced, high-risk environment 

 

Additional Information

Salary Range$23.00 - $26.00 / hr DOE

  

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
