We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant to work full-time on site in our Delmont, PA office.

 

Keller is seeking a proactive and organized Assistant to support the daily operations of our geotechnical shop. The successful candidate will assist the Shop Manager in ensuring that all administrative and logistical needs of the shop are met. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our shop's supply chain, equipment management, and overall operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist the Shop Manager with administrative tasks, ensuring that all operational demands of the shop are efficiently managed.
  • Supply Management: Order, maintain, and organize shop supplies to ensure that all necessary materials are available and properly stored.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Prepare equipment and materials for shipment and ensure proper receipt and storage of incoming equipment.
  • Payroll: Assist with payroll for the shop employees.
  • Safety Compliance: Abide by and enforce all company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager to support shop operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licenses: Clean driver’s license is required.
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience: Prior experience in the construction industry is an asset but not required.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $21 to $24 per hour depending on experience.

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
