Keller is looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to work on-site at our San Diego, CA location. 

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll weekly in accordance with prevailing wage and union requirements
  • Prepare and distribute Certified Payroll Reports
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
  • Review and send Corporate HR new hire paperwork for union employees
  • Serve as the company’s union audit liaison
  • Process payroll in compliance with State (CA, NV, AZ, WA, OR, ID, HI, AK) and Federal requirements including FICA, FUTA, SUI
  • Assist on other projects as needed

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time payroll experience
  • A minimum of 5 year of full-time construction prevailing wage experience
  • Experience using D365 and Ceridian is preferred
  • Experience with online payroll reporting (LCP Tracker, DIR, EMARS, etc.)
  • Experience processing payroll for a multi-state employer is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Motivated, self-starter with high self-esteem and confidence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus
  • HR experience is a plus
