We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer and Software Trainer to support the rollout of new enterprise-wide IT systems. This role is critical in ensuring that employees across the organization are equipped to effectively adopt and utilize new systems through engaging, high-quality training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, software training, and ideally a familiarity with the construction industry.

• Instructional Design:
  
  • Develop engaging training materials and curricula tailored to diverse audiences, including in-person and online delivery formats.
  • Create job aids, user guides, e-learning modules,a nd scenario-based simulations to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with system functionality and business needs.
• Training Delivery:
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for end-users, ensuring understanding and engagement.
  • Conduct live demonstrations, hands on workshops, and interactive sessions to drive adoption of enterprise IT systems.
  • Provide follow-up support and coaching to address user challenges and reinforce learning.
• Implementation Support:
  • Act as a training liaison during system roll-outs, providing real-time assistance and gathering feedback to refine materials.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, assessments and analytics, and use insights to enhance programs.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and change management strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and training, with a focus on systems training
  • Experience in the construction industry or similar field is highly preferred
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in e-learning authorizing tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate) and virtual training platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and IT system implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM).
• Core Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt training approaches for diverse audiences and learning styles.
  • Skilled in project management and capable of meeting deadline in a fast-paced environment.
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for in-person training sessions and implementation support
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Salary Range: $70-113K per year

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
