Keller is looking for an experienced Finance Director based out of our Rockaway, NJ location.

 

The Finance Director will partner with the Business Unit Leader and management team and be responsible for the overall accuracy of reported financial data and project results while insuring proper internal controls are maintained throughout the business.

Responsibilities

  • Advises and actively participates as a key member and trusted advisor of the management team with the goal of adding value that will assist in decision-making.
  • Hands on assistance for Keller’s “PLM” (Project Lifecycle Management) program. Duties include support for bids (i.e. cost inputs, working capital estimates, capital planning, etc.) through to final demobilization.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of project accounts in addition to project related balance sheet accounts, like project inventory, AR, and AP.
    • Responsible for maintaining project internal controls as defined by Keller North America. Keller is primarily on Earned Value, so aligning production concepts with financials under IFRS is critical.
    • Responsible for working capital management; mainly receivables.
  • Prepares budgets and forecasts and monitors actual results via Keller’s internal performance monitoring program.
  • Note: full financial statement preparation will be completed centrally from the Keller North America headquarters in Hanover, MD.
  • Travel across the U.S. and Canada as required to attend management meetings and visit project sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related Business field.
  • CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience.
  • Proven management experience - leading multi-location teams preferred.
  • Solid computer and ERP skills including the ability to adapt to new systems. 

Additional Information

Salary Range: $165,000 - $190,000 per year

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
