GEO-Instruments provides geotechnical and structural monitoring services. We integrate, supply, and install geotechnical and structural sensors. We are currently looking for Field Engineers/Project Managers with multi-discipline skillsets to join our team in Springfield, VA. This position is the liaison between Geo-instruments and our customers. This role works with sales, engineers and technicians to develop solutions. They will write proposals and plans, then help direct the work. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through on time and on budget execution of contracts. They will work with and direct instrumentation technicians to achieve high quality in the products and services we provide. The successful candidate will oversee multiple simultaneous projects throughout their lifecycle.

This position is for those with experience in construction, commercial installations or industrial projects. It requires managing the expectation of customers, vendors and multiple personalities. Direct geo/structural instrumentation experience is not a requirement. We will train the right person.

Applicants will be technology minded and enjoy working with their hands. They will have knowledge in one or two of the following, combined with an interest and desire to learn other skillsets.

Experience in geotechnical instrumentation, or vibration monitoring is a bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requires excellent written and oral communication with strong organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Business software products are a must. Candidates must be able to work with others, work in the field, be a self-starter, and be able create order out of chaos. This position requires some travel with occasional night and weekend work. Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

Salary: $74,000 - $83,500
