    We have an immediate need for a Data Acquisition (DAQ) Technician to be based out of our Houston, TX area office.      


    In this position, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components for our specialized construction equipment. In addition, you will be challenged with installing, modifying, and troubleshooting the hardware and software that comprise our data acquisition systems on mobile drilling & pumping equipment.


    Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in a technical area, experience with the referenced equipment, understanding of electronics and hydraulics and may have some knowledge of geology and civil engineering. Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience within Electrical field (i.e., journeymen, apprentice and/or trade schools, including hands on field work) and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot electrical control systems.  Must be able to analyze, read, and interpret technical data.  PLC knowledge is preferred. Experience with/aptitude for electro-mechanical controls: process controllers; signal conditioning, etc. is preferred.  Experience with National Instruments hardware, LabVIEW, and AutoCAD are a plus.


    Proven experience interfacing with all levels of individuals necessary, must be able to work with minimal supervision.  Candidates must have solid computer knowledge and skills, high attention to detail, and a strong ability to communicate with and work as part of a team.  This position may require shift work. Anticipate 50% of working time spent on projects within the region, 50% of time spent in shop.
